Pumpkin Patch Again
Here's Amelia at the How Tall Are You This Fall? sign for the third straight year. This year, she's holding her hands over her ears because there was a hungry calf nearby that was "Too Loud!". I couldn't get her to look at me and take her hands down. Oh well. This is also when I realized that her pants are too short to be worn as anything other than back up clothes.

Bunny Shirt
I'm combining a cute Amelia post with a crafty post. I've been trying to build up Amelia's fall/winter wardrobe with handmade items. I have made a bunch of stuff so far. I ordered a pack of patterns about a month ago and this shirt was one of the patterns that I had to make right away. I found this great bunny fabric and it was fate. Unfortunately, the fabric doesn't have quite enough stretch so the first shirt was too small. Anyone know an 18 month old that could use a new shirt? Luckily, I had plenty of leftover bunnies to make a 2nd shirt and it fits perfectly.
The shirt is the Bimaa top and the pants are Oliver + S After School Pants. Both in size 2 with size 3 length.

Happy Halloween!
I can't believe it has been a month since I last posted. Sorry about that. I don't know how that happened!
Amelia decided she wanted to be Tinkerbell months ago. So, I set to work. I altered an existing dress pattern for the top and made up different size leaf shapes for the skirt. It came together surprisingly quickly. From what I've seen nearly every toddler girl costume contains a tutu. So, of course, Amelia had to have one too. With wings and a bun, Tinkerbell was created. She loves it! Hooray!

Wedding Princess
A few weekends ago, we traveled down to Guthrie, OK to see my cousin Rebecca get married. Amelia decided that it would be fun for us to take some professional photos. That explains the hand under the chin pose. The extra poofy skirt was achieved with a fancy petticoat under the dress.

Life Jacket
We were picking up some essentials at Walmart when Amelia saw the rack of puffer vests aka Life Jackets. Of course, she couldn't live without the pink one. It's reversible with a pink cheetah print on the other side. Can you tell she loves it?

Baby Quilt for Marshall
Our friends Nick and Mary had a baby back in August. Marshall Nicholas Johnson. Mary wanted bright colors for the baby's quilt with gray. So here's what I came up with. Do you like my quilt holding helper?
