Video Attempt

Talking up a Storm

I'm sorry I missed a week of posting. We bought a new computer, returned that computer, and purchased a new, new computer all in a week. With all that commotion, I didn't get a chance to post last week. The good news is......I have video! (hopefully)

Amelia has her first professional photo shoot tomorrow. I'm going to make her look as ridiculously cute as possible. She really talks a lot now. She discovered a new sound last week and practiced it for an hour after she went to bed and first thing in the morning too. Her parents were so proud!

Did I mention that she loves the dog? Just after this picture, she rolled over so they were belly to belly. Then she grabbed a fistful of his hair just to show how much she loved him. Ayer's response, to lick every surface of her he could get to! She loved it!

4 Months Old!

I can't believe it's been 4 months already. Time is flying by crazy fast! Last Doctor's appointment was on Friday and she weighs 13 lb even and is 24" long. Back down to 50% for height and weight. At least she still isn't short! We've had major developments in the last month. Amelia has found a new best friend (her purple monkey), she rolls over both ways, can reach out and grab what she wants, and she talks a lot. She got blessed by her Grandpa and Great Grandpa. She also met her Great Grandma from Florida. It's been a great month. Here's a slightly picture heavy update.

She is sooo not a Diva, but looks good in black and pink!
See how much she loves the monkey!

New Toys and not so Fun Surprises

Amelia loves to sit up, but can't do it on her own. Today we bought her a Bumbo chair and she loves it! I think she'd sit in it all day if we let her.

We also got to experience the first blowout diaper. I can't believe we made it this long and I hope we never see it again. Every parent needs to experience it once, I guess.

Roll Over!

Thinking about rolling over.....

Trying out the side....
  Hey! I'm on my tummy!
This isn't so bad after all!
