We have babbling. Amelia started working on her baba sounds Saturday. She can sometimes throw in a dada, but it definitely isn't on purpose.

There isn't much improvement in the crawling area. She has started pulling up onto things. She is trying to get up on my leg in this picture. You can see she is quite happy about it.

It's hard to tell in photos, but she is really getting a lot of hair, finally. It is really crazy most of the time too. She definitely has her father's 'electric' hair!

 As of Friday, we officially have a crawler in the house! I've been trying to get video of it, but the crawl is elusive. It tends to go into hiding when the camera comes out.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Even the doggie!

8 Months Old!

 Has it really been 8 months already? We're still waiting for the crawling, but she seems to think it's easier to just scoot around. She likes to stand and can do it while holding onto something for a little while. She is trying more and more types of food and so far peaches are her favorite.

Amelia has decided that she is a singer. She likes to play with different pitches when she says AAHHH. She also likes to dance. She'll start swaying back and forth and kicking her feet whenever she hears music.

More Randomness

My family checking out the blizzard. Yes, it was completely white outside. Rob shoveled twice already and the snow on the edge of the driveway is at least 4' high. We've probably gotten 14" and it is still snowing!

 I don't know what was going on, but Amelia was sticking her tongue out like this all day yesterday. Crazy baby! She's still not crawling, but getting closer everyday.
