Sitting Pretty

Amelia is a big fan of climbing to the top of our couch and Rob's chair. Here she is enjoying her perch.

Hot Lava!

I think everyone played this game as a kid. You can't step on the floor because it is covered in lava or shark infested waters. I doubt that Amelia was playing that game, but she lined up the couch pillows and wouldn't step on the floor. She very carefully walked across them.

A Quilt for Us

I made this quilt top in February of 2009. It was too big for me to attempt to quilt myself so it sat around waiting for me to send it out. I finally got it back and finished it a week ago and now it resides on it's new home. I wasn't super thrilled with it back in 2009, but now that it is complete I really like it.

Future Cheerleader?

I went through some of my old stuff at my parents house awhile ago. I couldn't get rid of my old pom poms from when I was on the dance team. Amelia picked them up and immediately started shaking them, as you can tell from this action shot. Her favorite is to shake them in Ayer's face.

Muffin Time!

Almost every Saturday, Amelia and I make a batch of muffins for breakfast. She's gotten really good at pouring in the ingredients and always helps mix them up. She even tells me which part of the muffin tin to fill next. She is a great helper, but I have the feeling she's destined to be in management.

Rocking the baby

Amelia loved the gliding ottoman at Grandma and Grandpa's house. She decided that she needed to rock her Dolly to sleep on it.

Amelia called Rob out to the sidewalk and had a blast chasing him the other day.

Pleated Tunic

I saw this tutorial and thought the shirt was super cute. I am pretty happy with how Amelia's turned out. However, I'll have to add a little extra width across the chest in my next one. She looks distressed, but she isn't. I think she was very interested by an episode of Bubble Guppies.

Rob was doing his nightly pushups and Amelia thought it was fun to copy him. Then she thought she'd give him something cute to look at while he was working so hard. The dress is another mommy made creation. I need to try to get some better pictures of it.

Mean Bunny

I made this cute little bunny for Amelia's Easter basket. Rob declared its name was mean bunny. How did it get its name? It is notorious for tickle attacks at random moments.

Colors and Stickers

Apparently, Amelia's absence from the blog the last week or so has caused several people lots of trauma. No fear! I have 6 more posts already written and scheduled. That means new Amelia posts every other day for almost 2 weeks.
