New Muffin Apron

I planned on making this apron/smock ages ago. Amelia only owns one apron and it is a Christmas one. That just doesn't cut it for our Saturday muffin making. I thought the giggling monkeys were cute and fitting for Amelia. It looks a little crazy with her red outfit underneath, but is pretty cute in real life. She's a big fan of the 3 giant pockets in front. Oh, hey Ayer!

Library

One can never have too many library books checked out at one time. Even if they are a little challenging to carry.

Princess Pink and Crazy Dots

OR The one in which I let Amelia pick her fabrics.

First up, a princessy pink confection (Simplicity 1922) with a ruffled tulle lining to keep the skirt at optimum volume. It's getting harder and harder to get Amelia to cooperate for pictures, but this one should be worth it. I let Amelia pick the fabric and she wanted pink. I couldn't convince her to let me get something with other colors. Only pink would do.

Next up a handkerchief hem t-shirt. This one happened because she really, really wanted the fabric and I had to come up with a plan to use it. I originally was going for a dress, but decided it was a little too crazy for a dress. I got this t-shirt pattern from a pack of PDF patterns I purchased a few months ago. It is the Banyan Top. It is also the first time I used a double needle to hem a knit. It worked fantastically and I can't believe it has taken me so long to use one.

Amelia 'Fashionista' Hansen

Amelia picked out this entire outfit. She also informed me that she needed lots of piggy tails. So she had 4 randomly placed pigtails around her head. It was quite the look.

Purple Puppy Purse

From Purple Grandma, quite possibly the craziest purse ever! Amelia loves it!

See those red marks on her cheek. We had a band-aid on her to keep her from scratching a sore. Well, I guess you could call this a giant backfire. The sore is healed, but now she has had a pretty bad reaction to the band-aid. We're not sure if it's the latex or the adhesive that caused it. Poor thing. At least she doesn't act like it is bothering her at all.

New Pajamas

Another pair of Oliver + S Sleepover Pajamas. These were finished up about 2 weeks before the weather decided to start warming up. I really hope they still fit in the fall. I used snaps instead of buttons this time around. Amelia's favorite part are the little deer on the pockets.

Squeaky Shoes

Aunt Tonya bought Amelia some new shoes. They squeak with every step she takes! Amelia loves them and also loves some of the toys her cousin, Ben, sent along too. Here she is wearing her shoes and showing off baby bear or as Rob likes to call it, Baby Bigfoot. Oh, and yes, Amelia is starting to pick out her own outfits. We've had a few really good ones lately.

Gifts for baby Kline

Amelia has a friend named Robby. They always have a great time when they get together. At soccer games, they are quite the entertainment. Robby got a new baby sister almost two weeks ago. Here a some of the gifts Amelia gave her.

Easter

I tried to get a nice picture of Amelia in her Easter outfit. Unfortunately, she was feeling pretty crummy and wasn't interested in being cooperative. Here are the best two I could get. She also had a pretty pink hat, but wearing it for pictures was out of the question.
