Flash Dance and Exhausted

Amelia was walking around in her dance apparel and was getting chilly. I put a sweatshirt on her and it reminded me of Flash Dance. 

Baby was sleepy, so Amelia made her a little bed. Then Amelia realized how exhausted she was, so she made herself a little bed and yawned.

Saturday Afternoon

Amelia had her flu shot on Saturday morning. It must have tuckered her out because she fell asleep while sitting on Rob's lap listening to music. She didn't even get lunch.

Half an hour later, this was the scene.

Ice Cream Dress

Another Oliver + S pattern for Amelia. This one is the Ice Cream Dress. She measured right at the 18-24 month size and it fits pretty well. Maybe tad too tight across the chest when putting it on, but overall a good fit. This one was about a thousand times easier than her Halloween shirt. It went from Amelia picking the pattern to completed dress in a day.

Here's my little model showing it off. This is post church and right before naptime. Not the best shot, but she likes it. That's all that matters.

Scissors

Amelia told me that she wanted scissors. Can you believe this piece of paper and the scissors kept her entertained for 45 minutes? It's amazing!

Happy Halloween!

 When Amelia saw this costume in the store while we were looking for something else, she screamed, "MINNIE MOUSE!!!!!" How could we not get it for her? She was so excited to wear this outfit. She had a great party at school and then filled her treat bag with candy at my work. This is right before she got to go out to the neighboring houses. Do you think she's a little excited?

I was feeling some guilt for buying her costume instead of making it. So, I made the little treat bag for her. It was the perfect size. Any bigger and the candy load would have been too heavy for her to carry.
