I Wanna Push it!

That is what Amelia is saying in this picture. The flash on my new camera pops up when needed and Amelia loves to push it back down.

For everyone worried about the band-aid on Amelia's face, don't be. She just has a small sore on her cheek that she won't leave alone. We put a band-aid on it to try to keep her from messing with it. Typical 2 year old stuff.

Best Friends

In the midst of my insane quantities of picture taking on Saturday, Amelia requested pictures of herself next to Ayer. Here are a couple good shots and one outtake. Ayer was in the middle of a yawn and Amelia wanted to show everyone her brown crayon.

New Camera!

Rob surprised me on Friday, by getting me a new camera. I've been talking about saving up for one for awhile, so it was a great surprise. I'm pretty sure I have the best husband ever. Expect to see an overwhelming quantity of Amelia photos for awhile, at least until the novelty wears off. I think I took almost 200 pictures today.

Pretend Sleeping

 

Amelia loves to pretend she is sleeping. She even makes fake snoring sounds. Here she has chosen one of her favorite places in the house to pretend to sleep, the bottom landing of the stairs. 

 

Alli & Amelia

Alli came to visit a few weekends ago. Amelia had a fabulous time playing with her. Here they are being silly.

Little Fashionista

I bought Amelia some headbands. She decided they all needed to be on at the same time.

Exhausted

Amelia fell asleep on the way home from church. That is never a good thing. It usually means either no lunch or no real nap. This time, she decided to fight the nap. Rob went to check on her and discovered the entire contents (of the nearly full) diaper genie neatly displaced around her room. We had no idea how she managed to get them out!

It must have tired her out because about half an hour later this happened.

MIA

I have no idea where the camera has disappeared to. It's been missing all week. I have a feeling little miss Amelia has relocated it to somewhere really safe. So, fair warning there won't be much for posts until I can find it.

In the meantime, here is a picture of Amelia with her cousins Matt and Ben taken with my phone a few weeks ago.

What is Unusual Here?

For dinner the other night, we had meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. Look at Amelia's plate and see if you can figure out what is strange.

Did you notice it? Amelia ate all of her broccoli and left the rest. Definitely not a normal kid thing!
