Little Virtuoso

We finally opened up Amelia's Christmas present from Santa. A piano! She loves it. I see big things in her future.



I think this picture is funny. She has giraffes on her shirt, yet she is eating one at the same time.




I just noticed she has residual squash in her eyebrow. Oops.

7 Months Old!

 Seven Months Old!

Amelia is on the verge of crawling. She can sit up for as long as she wants and catches herself if she starts to fall. She scoots really fast and gets up into crawling position. Then she rocks her body back and forth. She has the arms figured out, but not the legs yet.


Yesterday, Amelia went from laying on her belly to sitting up all by herself. She was very proud of herself.

To be fair, he wasn't feeling well and it was really cold that day.

Amelia likes to sleep up on her knees. I thought she looked pretty cute hugging her musical seahorse and all curled up.

This outfit is really soft and warm. I need to figure out how to edit video because the intro is a little long. Here's a video of Amelia practicing her scooting.

Excited for presents.

6 Month Check Up

Amelia had her 6 month checkup on Friday. She is perfect according to the doctor. He actually used the word perfect several times. So I'm not the only one that thinks so.

She weighed in at 15lbs 3oz which is the 35th percentile and she is 26" long which is the 52nd percentile. So she is still pretty average and a little on the skinny side, which you wouldn't believe if you saw her chunky little legs.

P.S. Rob thinks she looks psychotic in this photo.

Six Months Old!

6 Months Old and such a big girl!
Amelia can now sit up for about 30 seconds.
She is getting really good at rolling around and
twisting her body to get to her toys and the dog.

She is starting to get into crawling position, but
hasn't quite figured it out yet. She has been eating
cereal for almost a week and really likes it.
