Pacifier! Who needs that?

I tried to give Amelia her pacifier today because she kept sucking on everything she could get her hands on. She decided it wasn't good enough and tried to shove her whole fist in her mouth.

 Rob decided it was a good idea to try to eat the baby. Poor girl!

Wow!

That pretty much explains how I feel about life now. I am seriously in awe of all those moms out there than can get anything but the bare minimum accomplished. It is amazing how little downtime I have. Right now I'm fighting extreme fatigue to get a post out there. So, I hope everyone is grateful I'm spending my 20 minutes of 'me' time to post pictures of Amelia.

We went to the ISU v. K-State football game on Saturday. It was pretty hot, but it didn't phase Amelia. We would've been happier if ISU won, but that wouldn't be the Cyclone way!

3 Months Old or It's been a Crazy week!

3 Months Old

3 month photo shoot today. Amelia has been struggling with a cold all week, so we didn't get her all dressed up. She decided comfort today.

Last weekend Amelia's Aunt Kate came for a visit. Amelia really enjoyed the company and all the attention. She even dressed up in her crabby outfit again. This time she accessorized!

Bedtime routine involves story time with Daddy. Here she is captivated by Green Eggs and Ham.

Surviving Daycare

Tuesday was my last full day home with Amelia. We decided to be a little silly.

 Amelia did really well at Daycare. She pretty much slept the entire time, but I guess it wore her out. She came home and immediately went back to sleep.

Getting too big...

Amelia is getting too big for the 'newborn napper' part of her pack 'n' play. I knew she was getting big, but this is just sad.

New Friend

Amelia has started liking toys. Here she is with her squeaky giraffe. Ayer keeps trying to steal it from her, so she's being protective.

 She's also started drooling, so we now have a use for all of her bibs. I foolishly thought I wouldn't need them until she started eating food!

Update

I've been informed that I am seriously neglecting my Amelia update duties. I apologize. I thought people wouldn't want to see her sitting/sleeping in the same spot with just a different outfit on. I was wrong, she's so cute that it doesn't matter. People just can't get enough of her sweet face! So here are some pictures, now get off my back!

2 Months Old!

Amelia is growing so fast! She had her 2 month check-up and her first round of vaccinations. Poor little girl was not a fan of all the shots she had to get. She took them like a champ though and only cried for about a minute. She spent the rest of the day and today just wanting to be cuddled.

2 Months

Her latest stats put her at 10lb13oz and 23" long. She's moved back to the 50th percentile for weight and stayed in the 75th for length. She's laughing, cooing, and holding her head up really well now.

Pics from Vacation

We came home from vacation at the lake on Sunday. The entire family had a great time. Amelia even got to wear her bathing suit and take a dip in the lake. She wasn't such a huge fan of the water, luckily it was only her feet that got dipped! So, we had a photo shoot on a sand colored towel inside. Here she is in between smiles.
