Squeaky Shoes

Aunt Tonya bought Amelia some new shoes. They squeak with every step she takes! Amelia loves them and also loves some of the toys her cousin, Ben, sent along too. Here she is wearing her shoes and showing off baby bear or as Rob likes to call it, Baby Bigfoot. Oh, and yes, Amelia is starting to pick out her own outfits. We've had a few really good ones lately.

Gifts for baby Kline

Amelia has a friend named Robby. They always have a great time when they get together. At soccer games, they are quite the entertainment. Robby got a new baby sister almost two weeks ago. Here a some of the gifts Amelia gave her.

Pattern for the baby circle skirt found here and the quilt tutorial was found here.

Easter

I tried to get a nice picture of Amelia in her Easter outfit. Unfortunately, she was feeling pretty crummy and wasn't interested in being cooperative. Here are the best two I could get. She also had a pretty pink hat, but wearing it for pictures was out of the question.

Parent Watch Night #2

Much better this time. Although, after class Amelia told me that she doesn't like it when people are watching. That is not a good omen for her recital. You can tell that she isn't entirely sure about all the people in first 2 photos. I guess she is a little shy after all.

Baby Shower Gift

I had a baby shower last Saturday for one of our friends. Amelia and her son, Robby, are good friends. This time she is having a little girl. I found this pattern for a baby dress and this pattern for a diaper cover. I thought I'd fancy the diaper cover up with a few ruffles on the back. I think it turned out awfully cute! I don't have pictures, but I also made 2 matching pacifier clips.

Sledding!

Amelia loved sledding with our neighbor. They went down the hill several times and Amelia had a huge grin on her face.

Another Quilt

This one is for my good friend's baby. She picked the fabric and told me she wanted it bright and not too babyish. I really love how cheery it looks.

I had just enough left over fabric to make a few burp cloths and a couple pacifier clips. I hope baby Asa likes it!

Frosty

Building a Frosty the Snowman.

Frosty lasted for several days, but unfortunately suffered a natural decapitation on Sunday night. Amelia didn't seem too upset by it though.
